Membership Team

“To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4: 12-13

Mission Statement

The Membership Team of Greater Peace Baptist Church helps members develop a complete relationship with God and a fellowship with other believers in Christ within the church.

Deacon Ministry

The Deacons Ministry supports the Pastor and assists the Pastor in giving spiritual leadership to other ministries of the church. This ministry is also charged to lead in weekly devotions, prayer meetings and console the bereaved.

Deaconess/Deacon Wives Ministry

This ministry assists the pastor as directed. Members are co-laborers with the Deacons in assisting the Sick and Shut-in, assisting female candidates for Baptism, and assisting with the Holy Communion.
